.......

The hospital room was quiet, filled only with the rhythmic beeping of the monitors. Tube light of hospital f, casting shining glow over the pale face of Dr.Sitara Malik, who had been in a coma for two long months.

The door creaked open.

A young nurse stepped in, balancing a tray of fresh bandages and a chart. She glanced at the girl on the bed and sighed.

"It felt so strange... you know, when Rayyan Sikander was admitted here a few days ago," she said casually to the older nurse behind her. "To see him-the great Rayyan Sikander-on that hospital bed."

The older nurse frowned. "They said he signed in under a fake name."

"Still didn't stop anyone from recognizing him," the young one whispered. "And now he's won his fifth Business Tycoon of the Year award. Again. While the Malik's Corporation is collapsing under debt."

The second nurse sighed dreamily. " and you know what's even more shocking? Malik Corporation-Sitara's family empire-is crashing. They are bankrupt now And guess who's merging with it? Sikander Corporation, their rivals.Rayyan Sikander has a big hand in ........"

"Wait-"nurse froze. "She... she moved."

Sitara's fingers twitched. Her lips parted as if caught in a silent scream. And then-barely a whisper-

"Ra...yyan..."

"She's waking up!" Amrita shouted. "Doctor! Call the doctor!"

The door slammed open, and Dr. Mehta rushed in, stethoscope already out.

He checked her vitals, eyes wide. "She's responding. Her reflexes are back. Increase the oxygen flow. And...Call Sarmad Malik immediately and And inform the Sikander family that Sitara has woken up". Doctor ordered to nurse

Malik's mansion:-

The grand study room echoed with the static of a television news report. Once a symbol of power and prestige, the Malik Mansion now carried the weight of a crumbling empire. The velvet curtains were half-drawn, a heavy silence cloaking the room.

The news anchor's voice rang clear:

"...And with the elections drawing near, early polls suggest the ruling party is likely to win again, crushing any remaining hopes for the opposition. Meanwhile, Malik Corporation continues to suffer financially.

Sikander corporation, the rival company of Malik's, purchased the 90 percent shres of malik corporation. Both the rivals are going to merge

,In related news, new evidence has emerged in the controversial Ahaan Malik case-indicating strong involvement in the Bikaner drug trafficking scandal. Sources confirm that a death sentence is a high possibility."

CRASH!

Sarmad Malik rose from his chair with a roar, grabbing the glass of whiskey from the table and hurling it straight at the TV screen.

The screen shattered, sparks flying as the device cracked and flickered. His breath came out in furious, ragged bursts. His face flushed crimson with rage.

"Ahhhh ! Sikander! I will kill you . You shouldn't have touch my family and my party",

He clenched his fist so tightly that his knuckles turned white, a vein throbbing violently at his temple.

Just then, his younger brother, Armaan Malik, rushed in, alarmed by the noise.

"Bhai! Bhai, stop!" Armaan shouted, grabbing his elder brother's arms and holding him back with all his strength. "Please! You'll hurt yourself-this isn't the way-"

" Don't try to control me , or else your face will be in place of that TV", Sarmad shoved him away but stumbled, the weight of frustration too heavy to carry

Armaan steadied him and said, voice thick with sorrow"Bhai, please... control your anger. It's like someone's dark shadow has fallen on our family. One by one, everything is slipping out of our hands."

"Someone's evil shadow has fallen on this family, Bhai..." he said quietly.

"Don't talk to me about shadows and fate!" Sarmad barked, pushing Armaan away.

As if on cue, Zain Malik, Sarmad's younger son, ran into the room, panting. "Dad! Chachu! Sitara... she's awake! The hospital just called-she came out of the coma!"

"You know who's behind all this, right?"

Sarmad didn't move.

Armaan came closer "Bad luck doesn't just happen, bhai. Sometimes it takes a shape. A face."

Armaan's eyes widened. He looked at Sarmad. " That girl...sitara"

Sarmad's fists tightened. And armaan continued his words

"See bhaiya, sitara is that dark shadow, till yesterday everything was in our hands , even there was no evidence Against ahaan but now , the moment this sitara, got concious everything went out of our control, we lost our luck and we are at edge of collapse.

That girl is the reason behind everything. From the moment she was born, she brought nothing but disaster. She took her mother's life during childbirth, ruined your political career , and now look at us-our empire crumbling."

Sarmad closed his eyes, trying to control his anger

"She came back to life the same day Rayyan Sikander started swallowing our empire. Coincidence?" Armaan's lips curled slightly. "I don't think so."

"She should've been married to Adrian months ago. Maybe if that accident hadn't happened, we'd finally be free of her shadow."

Suddenly, Sarmad erupted, his voice loud and final

"That marriage will happen. Next week," he said coldly. "Call Adrian's family. Set the date."

He turned to storm out.

But as he reached the doorway, Mahir, his younger son, stood waiting. His eyes were red, his face pale with emotion.

"Dad... Sitara woke up." His voice cracked. "Aren't you coming to see her?"

Sarmad stopped in his tracks. For a moment, it looked like he might turn around. But instead... he walked past Mahir in silence and disappeared down the hallway, slamming his bedroom door shut behind him.

Mahir stood frozen, hurt swelling in his chest.

Behind him, Armaan watched quietly, the corners of his lips lifting ever so slightly.

At hospital:-

Sitara's eyes fluttered open slowly, her body trembling uncontrollably. A cold sweat covered her forehead as a wave of fear crashed over her. Her voice was weak at first, barely more than a whisper.

"Aira... my daughter..." where is she?"

" Sitara can you hear me" doctor asked

"My aira , ... No , no , I don't want ", sitara cried, her voice breaking, her heart rate increasing

"What you don't want ?", doctor asked again

"Ma.. marriage, I don't want to get married", sitara cries

The doctor and nurse moved closer, trying to soothe her.

"Sitara, you're safe now. You've been in a coma... try to stay calm."

The doctor and nurse moved closer, trying to soothe her.

"Sitara, you're safe now. You've been in a coma... try to stay calm."

But panic flooded through her veins like wildfire. Suddenly, she shouted, her voice raw with desperation, "I don't want that marriage! I want to get away! Please... let me go!"

The staff tried to gently hold her, but Sitara's strength surprised them all. With a sudden burst, she pushed them away, her fists flying in fear and confusion. She scrambled to her feet and bolted toward the door.

As she rushed down the corridor, the world around her blurred, her heart pounding loudly in her ears. She reached the stairwell, her foot slipping on the cold tile. Just as she was about to fall, a firm hand caught her waist and wrist, pulling her close.

The man pulled her gently into his arms, eyes locking with hers-deep green pools full of heat and unspoken promises. His voice softened, thick with emotion.

A deep, calm voice whispered in her ear, smooth and steady"Didn't you think even once about this prince before dying?"

She froze, eyes wide, meeting a pair of piercing emerald green eyes that seemed to see right through her. The air between them thickened with an unspoken heat, an undeniable pull that made her breath hitch.

"If you die, then whom will I marry? And from whom will I take my revenge?"

Sitara's lips trembled, and in a soft, fragile voice barely above a whisper, she said, "ji ?..." Her innocence shone through her panic-like a frightened child searching for safety.

"Hanji", he whispered

Just then, footsteps thundered toward them. Mahir and Aira, her brother and daughter, burst into the hallway, calling her name desperately.

"Sitara!" mahir shouted his younger sister's name . He was rushing towards her only to see his sister in his sworn enemy's arms

Mahir's protective instincts flared as he shoved Rayyan lightly aside. "Stay away from my sister! Why did you come her?"

Rayyan only smiled, calm and unbothered,

Sitara, overwhelmed and exhausted, clung to Rayyan without realizing it, heat head on his heart her fragile form folding into his arms.

" if she end her life then how will I take my revenge"

Without a word, he lifted her gently, carrying her back to her room, the tension in the air melting away-if only for a moment.

he laid her down gently on the bed, brushing her hair behind her ear , and leaned closer " sleep peacefully for this one week , Miss Mumma. After that I won't let you sleep peacefully ", rayyan whispered in her ear

the doors burst open.

Rama Krishna-Rayyan's ever-loyal PA-rushed in, breathless and wide-eyed.

"Sir! Why did you leave your hospital room like this? You're still bleeding-what if something happened? Why did you saved her, your enemy's daughter , you brothers culprit, sir?"

Rayyan didn't flinch. He stood tall, expression unreadable, his arm still protectively cradling Sitara moments earlier. Now, his eyes were steady, like fire wrapped in ice.

"Helping an enemy is a saint's duty," Rayyan said coolly, his voice deep and calm. "and she is my future wife and helping my soon-to-be wife... that's my responsibility."

Just then, Adrian stormed into the hallway, rage pouring from every step. "She's my wife!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the corridor.

Rayyan turned, head slightly tilted, green eyes flashing with venom. "You don't have the fate... the destiny... to make her as you wife . If you ever take her name , your head will become food to My Simba ( tiger) "

"She is m-!" Adrian growled again, voice tightening.

But before he could take another breath, Rayyan lunged.

Rayyan's hand shot up like a viper. He gripped Adrian's neck with deadly precision and slammed him against the glass window behind. The pane cracked under pressure, jagged lines webbing out like lightning.Half his body dangled over the edge The corridor filled with gasps.

Rayyan's voice dropped to a menacing whisper, dangerously close to Adrian's ear.

"Did you forget... what happened twelve years ago ?"

Flashback

St. Joseph's International college, Jaipur, during the sports competition among all

School children came there to cheer their seniors

The school courtyard buzzed with laughter, children running and playing. But behind the old library building, the air was heavy.

Sitara stood frozen, clutching her schoolbag tightly. Tears welled in her wide eyes as Adrian, a cocky, fifteen-year-old boy, blocked her path with a sly grin.

"You'll be my wife someday," he said smugly, grabbing her arm. "So act like one. Sit here and play with me. Or I'll tell everyone you were rude to me."

Sitara trembled. "P-please... Let me go..."

Adrian only tightened his grip.

Just then, a voice cut through the silence like a blade.

"Let her go."

Rayyan, 16 tall and sharp-eyed even then, stood at the corner. Dressed in his sports jersey, a cricket bat casually resting on his shoulder, he looked calm-but his eyes burned.

(So earlier i mentioned wrong age but I have corrected it now , i will provide a characteristic after second chapter)

Adrian smirked"i -",

Before he could finish, Rayyan was already there.

With one swift motion, he slammed the bat against Adrian's side. The boy stumbled back, crying out in pain.

"You don't touch her, she my future wife ," Rayyan growled, stepping closer.

Adrian swung a hand wildly, trying to hit back, but Rayyan caught him by the collar, slammed him against the wall, and pulled out a piece of glass lying nearby.

With cold precision, he pressed it lightly to Adrian's forehead, just enough to make him bleed.

"I swear on everything," Rayyan whispered, his voice like thunder behind storm clouds, "if you even look at her again, i promise you that I'll destroy your dam whole legacy "

Flash back ended:-

"You still haven't learned," Rayyan growled through clenched teeth. "Even after twelve years, you dare to call her your wife?"

Mahir rushed forward, grabbing Rayyan's arm. "Leave him, Rayyan! You're going to kill him!"

But Rayyan didn't flinch. His emerald green eyes burned with rage, locked on Adrian's paling face.

Suddenly, the sound of fast footsteps echoed down the corridor. Kabir Sikander, Rayyan's father, stormed into the room with Vivaan, Rayyan's cousin, right behind him.

"Rayyan!" Kabir shouted, his voice echoing like a thunderclap. "Let him go right now!"

But Rayyan didn't respond. His fury was unrelenting, years of buried possessiveness exploding in one violent hold.

Kabir stepped closer, his voice sharp with command. "I said enough!"

Rayyan whispered, his voice like thunder behind storm clouds, "if you even look at her again, i promise you that I'll destroy the one which on which you call yourself as a man."

That pulled Rayyan back.

He slowly loosened his grip. Adrian fell to the ground, coughing, hands shaking. Mahir quickly knelt beside him, shielding him from Rayyan's burning glare.

Kabir's voice boomed again, this time laced with concern. "You left your treatment halfway and came here like a madman-what the hell is g

oing on with you, Rayyan?!"

Rayyan turned toward him, breath ragged, jaw clenched. "Im sorry, dad" he said softly, eyes flicking back toward Sitara's room.

"Bhai , her daughter, aira-", vivaan tried to say something but rayyan stopped him
