Ch 35

Author's POV:-

The morning sunlight seeped through the curtains, casting a warm glow in the room. Rajveer stirred awake, his head pounding from the last night's wine, the laughter with Abhira still fresh in his memory

"Ahhh", he groaned, clutching his head

He turned to his right side, expecting abhira would be sleeping peacefully beside him

But

He noticed the empty space beside him.

"Abhira?" he called out, his voice slightly hoarse.

There was no response. A pang of worry shot through him as his eyes fell on the red stains on the bed. His heart skipped a beat, fear gripping him. "Abhira!" he shouted louder, jumping to his feet.

It was a heart attack experience for rajveer, his wife - his sunshine is missing, her face was the very first he used to see on his every morning, which gave him relief from all of his tensions but now she isn't beside him .

He glanced around the room frantically until he noticed the bathroom door shut. Relief flooded him momentarily.

"Abhira, are you okay?" he asked, his voice laced with concern as he approached the door.

"Yes..." came the faint reply, but her voice was weak, unsteady. Something about it set off alarm bells in his mind. He leaned against the door, pressing his ear to the wood.

"Abhira, open the door. Please, talk to me."

There was no response. Ten agonizing minutes passed, and the silence inside the bathroom only grew louder. Rajveer's chest tightened with worry.

He knocked the bathroom door but no response "Abhira, I'm coming in," he warned, before slamming his shoulder against the door.

Finally he broked that door and hurriedly went inside only to be met with a sight that twisted his heart painfully.

Abhira lay half-conscious on the tiled floor, clutching her abdomen as tears streamed down her face. Blood stained her clothes, her pants soaked in a crimson patch. Her frail body trembled, and her pained sobs pierced the air.

"Puchku....it's paining alot", Abhira whimpered, her voice barely audible and tears streaming down from her eyes and her tearly eyes met his

Rajveer's heart broken by seeing her in that state

"Abhiraaaa", he literally shouted in panic and rushed towards her

He knelt down immediately, his hands trembling as he gently touched her face. "Abhira , bachaa what happened?" he asked, worry for her was evident on his face

But Abhira was crying continuously, clutching her abdomen

By seeing it , something came in his mind - did she got her periods?

After gathering a little strength, "puchkuuu, i don't why this blood is not stopped.... So much blood...and it's my stomach .....it's paining alot", she sobbed, her voice trembling with pain

His gaze softened, understanding dawning on him. She was having her periods, but with her childlike mind, she couldn't comprehend what was happening to her body.

He sighed deeply, relief in his heart that she was not injured but worry didn't left him , she is in her periods, which gives her more pain and unbearable sometimes, and she is mentally a child and her child like mind is unable to understand it , there would be many questions in her mind, especially he can't see her in pain

"Cupcake, it's ok. I here with you. Don't worry," he whispered, brushing her hair away from her face with utmost tenderness. "You're going to be fine, Abhira. I promise."

But she was still crying

"Shh, it's just your periods, sweetheart. You're going to be okay. I'll take care of you," he assured her, cupping her face

Abhira whimpered, "Why does it hurt so much, puchku? I don't like this..."

He placed a soft kiss on her forehead. "I know it hurts, love, but I'm going to help you. Trust me."

Lifting her gently into his arms, he carried her back to the bed, careful not to cause her more discomfort. She clung to him weakly, her tears dampening his chest as she sobbed in pain.

He gently layed her on the bed , covering her with blanket

and placed a soft pillow under her head. Her small hands clung to him, and he didn't let go until she felt secure.

He gently sat beside side her , on edge of the bed gently caressing her hair

She clutches his hand "stay", she whispered, her eyes pleading for him

"I'm not going anywhere," he promised, squeezing her hand tightly

As she buried her face in his chest, he stroked her hair soothingly. "You're brave, Abhira. You're strong. It's just your body telling you that you're growing. It's nothing to fear."

"But... why does it hurt so much?" she asked, her innocent eyes looking up at him through her tears.

"It's something that happens to every woman, sweetheart," he explained softly. "It's not easy, but it's normal. I'll help you through it, okay?"

She nodded, sniffling, and he kissed her forehead, his lips lingering there as if trying to absorb some of her pain.

"Cupcake, i should got out for a minute..", rajveer whispered but Abhira violently shook her head , clutching his hand tightly, not letting him to go away from her

"Im just going near our car , to bring sanitary pads for you, it's in my dashboard, i will just come in one minute ok", he gently explained Abhira

"Noo puchku please ", she pleaded him , her voice trembling, clutching the bedsheet

He took out his phone and dailed to rudransh, to Tell him to bring pack of sanitary pads for Abhira but his phone was off

Rajveer's bubbled in anger "this idiot will never be in available in crucial times", rajveer hissed

Then someone knocked the door and instantly Abhira covered her hole body with blanket

Rajveer opened the door only to see Aryan standing there and Aryan entered in their room

"Good mor-----", Aryan was trying to say but rajveer cutted him off before his complete his scentence

"Please, it's not right time , just leave", rajveer harshly Said to Aryan , but Aryan got habituated to his son's -rajveer's, Harsh behaviour towards him and preeta.

Aryan eyes fell on Abhira who was hiding in her blanket.

Aryan didn't understood why she was hiding there

"What happened to her ?", Aryan asked to rajveer, pointing his finger on abhira

Rajveer hesitated for a minute

"Abhira had her period today, she is confused about periods and sanitary pads are not available now and I thought to bring sanitary packs from shop but abhira is scared now , I can't leave her alone and that rudransh is not lifting my phone", rajveer said , glancing at Abhira

" Arey , it's just a small problem. Don't worry I will bring pads for Abhira. Honestly im feeling bored here ", Aryan said and smiling to easy the situation

Rajveer and abhira shook their head but Aryan was adamant and he went to bring sanitary packs for Abhira, as Aryan didn't want any of the bodyguards of rajveer to bring those pads, because he always thinks these issues are part of the every womens life and it should not be treated as untouchable and should not hesitate to help women's in these situations and he didn't want any outsider to help his daughter, when he is alive.

Aryan went to bring sanitary pads for Abhira and rajveer was soothing Abhira

Rajveer quickly fetched a heating pad from the cupboard, remembering how his sister used to soothe her cramps. He placed it on her abdomen, making sure it wasn't too hot. He also grabbed a glass of water and coaxed her to sip slowly.

"Better?" he asked, his hand stroking her hair soothingly.

She nodded slightly, her tears subsiding. "Don't leave me..."

"Never," Rajveer said firmly, leaning closer to press another kiss to her temple.

"Puchku, I want to see Kiaan", Abhira said , with her puppy eyes

"He is with Aliya and riya abhira, wait I will tell them to bring our kiaan here", he said, his voice soft

After few minutes

Aryan came back with pads but he handed it over to Aliya to give them to abhira

Aliya entered in their room and took Abhira in bathroom

Inside the bathroom, Abhira sat on a small stool, looking at the sanitary pad Aliya handed her with a mixture of confusion and fear. "What's this, Didi?" Abhira asked, her wide, innocent eyes studying the pad as if it were some alien object.

Aliya knelt in front of her, her tone soft and patient. "Abhira bhabhi, this is a pad. It's something women use during their periods to stay clean and comfortable. It helps with the blood, so it doesn't get on your clothes or the bed."

Abhira frowned, tilting her head. "But why do I need it? And why am I bleeding? Did I get hurt?"

Aliya took her hands gently. "No, bhabhi, you're not hurt. Periods are normal for all girls. It happens when your body grows up. The bleeding is your body's way of telling you that you're becoming a young woman."

Abhira blinked at her, processing the information slowly. "But I don't like it. It hurts, and it's messy. I want it to stop!" Tears welled up in her eyes again.

Aliya hugged her softly, stroking her hair. "I know it's uncomfortable, Abhira. But it's something every girl goes through. It will stop after a few days, and I'll help you with everything, okay? Now, let's put this pad on so you feel better."

Abhira nodded hesitantly, still unsure but trusting Aliya. Aliya guided her step by step, helping her wear the pad properly. "See? That wasn't so bad, was it?"

Abhira pouted. "It feels strange. I don't like it."

Aliya chuckled softly. "You'll get used to it, I promise. Now, let's go back to the room. Rajveer bhaiya is worried about you."

Once Abhira was ready, they stepped out of the bathroom. The sight of Rajveer waiting anxiously by the door brought a small smile to Abhira's face. "Rajveer!" she called, walking toward him like a child running to her favorite person.

Rajveer immediately wrapped his arms around her, lifting her gently. "Are you okay now, cupcake?"

Abhira nodded but then started to sob. "Puchku, it hurts so much. Why is this happening to me? I want Preeta mom . She always helps me when I feel bad."

BUT rajveer didn't want preeta to enter in his and abhira's life and wants to keep preeta, Aryan away from Abhira and himself

"Cupcake, i , Aliya, riya are with you right. You don't need preeta", rajveer tried to explain Abhira

But Abhira was adamant

"No I want preeta mom, I'm feeling messy, mom will help me ", Abhira pouted

her mind was still clouded with confusion. She shuffled out of his arms and looked around the room. Spotting a pillow on the bed, she picked it up and threw it to the floor. Then came the blanket, followed by anything else she could reach.

"Abhira, what are you doing?" Rajveer asked, half amused, half concerned, as she began to make a mess of the room.

"I want Preeta! She always makes me feel better!" Abhira declared, stomping her foot like a child.

Aliya, who had been watching silently, stepped forward with a reassuring smile. "Abhira, Preeta isn't here, she went to her office ", Aliya Said, trying to stop Abhira

"Then tell preeta mom , to come here ", Abhira shouted unable to bear the pain

Rajveer couldn't see Abhira in pain and he reluctantly accepted abhira's demand

"Call her and tell her to come here fastly ", rajveer said, unwillingly, it can be scene in his face

Abhira stopped throwing things and sat on bed and rajveer placed the heating pad on her abdomen and soothing her

Aliya dialed the number, and within moments, Preeta answered the phone. Aliya's voice trembled as she relayed the situation.

And on other side preeta decided to go to Abhira, her heart pounding for her daughter as Abhira is mentally a child and it was her first period after her memory loss and preeta can understand her situation and in this time Abhira needs her

She left her works in her office and rushed to guest house

There was a long pause, and then Preeta's voice echoed back through the phone, calm but filled with worry. "I'm on my way. I'll be there in a few minutes."

A few minutes later...

The front door slammed open, and Preeta rushed into the room, her shoes clicking loudly on the floor. Rajveer's heart skipped a beat, the moment she entered, but his disdain for her washed over him like a cold wave. He couldn't ignore his bitter childhood how she used to ignore rajveer and now she is there with Abhira in every small situation

Preeta ignored him, her focus only on Abhira, who still lay in pain, her fragile form trembling beneath the covers.

"Abhira!" Preeta cried, her voice thick with emotion as she hurried to the bed. "Sweetheart, what happened to you?"

Rajveer's fists clenched at his sides. He hated how she acted, as if she was the only one capable of caring for Abhira, as if Rajveer didn't love her more than anyone ever could. His eyes narrowed as Preeta threw herself onto the bed, enveloping Abhira in a tight hug, and soothing her with soft words.

"Shh, baby, it's okay. You're safe now. Let me take care of you."She held her as if she could absorb all of Abhira's pain. Abhira whimpered softly, pressing her face into Preeta's chest, her tears soaking through the fabric of Preeta's blouse.

Preeta pulled back just slightly, cupping Abhira's face with both hands. "Sweetheart, you're going to be okay. I'm here now." Her voice was steady, full of love, but her eyes betrayed the concern she felt for the young girl in front of her.

"Preeta Maa," Abhira whispered, her voice shaky, "It hurts so much. My stomach..."

"I know, my dear," Preeta said softly, brushing a lock of hair from Abhira's forehead. "It's going to be alright. This is just a part of growing up. You're not alone. We're here."

Abhira looked up at Preeta, her eyes filled with confusion and fear. "Preeta Maa, Why is this happening to me?"

Preeta's heart melted at the sight of the young woman in pain, her childlike innocence making everything feel so much more vulnerable. She sat down on the edge of the bed, gently lifting Abhira's hand into hers. "It's okay, darling. What you're feeling is completely normal. Every girl goes through this when she grows up. It's called your period. It's a sign that your body is becoming ready for the future, for everything life has planned for you."

Abhira's brow furrowed as she absorbed the information, still in discomfort but beginning to trust Preeta's words. "But why does it hurt so much, Preeta Maa? I don't understand..."

Preeta gave a sympathetic smile and rubbed Abhira's hand gently. "Sometimes it hurts because your body is adjusting to all the changes. But it will get better, I promise. Right now, we just need to take care of you. I'll help you, okay?"

Abhira nodded, her teary eyes slowly beginning to calm

Just then rajveer entered ,carrying a glass of sugar water.

He sat beside her, gently placing the glass near her lips.

"Abhira, sweetheart, you need to drink this," Rajveer said softly, his voice filled with care. "It will help you feel better, okay?"

Abhira looked up at him with tired eyes, her small hand reaching out to touch his. "Puchku..." she whispered, her voice childlike and innocent. "I feel so weak. Everything hurts..."

Rajveer smiled warmly at her, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "I know, bacha. I know. But this will help you feel stronger. Come on, just a little sip, okay?"

Abhira hesitated for a moment but then nodded, trusting him completely. Rajveer held the glass to her lips, helping her sip the sweet water. She drank slowly, her small hands clutching his wrist as she looked up at him with wide, innocent eyes.

"Thank you, Puchku," she murmured, her voice soft, like a child's. "I feel a little better now."

He gently placed the empty glass on the bedside table and adjusted the pillows behind her to make her more comfortable.

Just then, Preeta quietly stepped toward the door, seeing the closeness between Rajveer and Abhira. She smiled softly, understanding the bond they shared. She didn't want to intrude on this tender moment, so she whispered, "I'll let you both rest. Call me if you need anything, Rajveer."

Rajveer glanced at his mother, giving her a reluctant nod

As the door softly clicked shut, and the room grew quiet once again, Abhira's small voice broke the silence. Her eyes, tells that she is tired,. She looked up at Rajveer, her expression innocent, and her hands tugged at his sleeve.

"Puchku," she whispered, her voice soft with a hint of sadness. "Can you hug me? ", she said with her puppy eyes which rajveer couldn't ignore

"Of course, Abhira," he murmured. "I'm here. You just need to give me a order and I will do it immediately ."

He carefully slid beside her on the bed, his arms wrapping around her slowly, as though she were the most delicate thing in the world. Abhira nestled into his chest, her head resting against his shoulder, her small hands clutching the fabric of his shirt as if she needed something solid to hold on to.

Rajveer gently stroked her hair, the tender act of comforting her filling him with a warmth that made him forget the world outside. He held her close, allowing her to feel his presence, his heart beating in time with hers.

"Is this better?" he asked quietly, his voice laced with concern.

Abhira nodded against his chest, her voice barely audible as she spoke again, "Yes, Puchku... this feels safe. You make me feel better."

And both are immersed in their tight hug
