Author's POV :-

The room fell into a suffocating silence, broken only by the faint rustling of Manish's impatient stance. Rajveer's jaw tightened, his gaze fixed on the floor as though he couldn't bear to look at anyone. Finally, in a voice that sounded strained and foreign, he said, "Take her."

The words pierced through the air like a sharp blade.

Abhira froze, her teary eyes widening in disbelief. For a moment, it felt like the world had stopped spinning. She blinked, as if trying to process what she had just heard. Her lips parted, trembling, but no sound came out.

For a moment she thought that she had mis heard, she thought it was a dream but her heart shattered when she realised that she didn't mishear

How cant she think that it was a dream? Her puchku didn't yell at her ,not even for once , her puchku always protected her from the cruel world, her puchku pampered her , loved her unconditionally but now she heard something from her puchku that she never thought she would hear

"What did you say, Rajveer?" Preeta's voice was sharp, cutting through the heavy atmosphere. Her disbelief mirrored everyone else's in the room. She stepped closer to him, searching his face for any sign that he had misspoken.

Rajveer swallowed hard, his throat bobbing painfully. His hands fisted at his sides, his nails digging into his palms as though trying to keep himself steady. "I said... take her," he repeated, his voice cracking slightly under the weight of his own words.

His mind was blank, he couldn't feel anything,he lost his senses . His heart was bleeding

Tears welled up in his eyes but now he didn't try to control his tears

Abhira got up from the couch , clutching her chest as if she couldn't breathe. "No..." she whispered, her voice barely audible. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she shook her head violently. "No... no, Puchku... no..."

She staggered toward him, her legs barely holding her weight, and grabbed onto his arm desperately. "You don't mean that," she cried, her voice rising with hysteria. "You can't mean that! I don't want to go! I don't want to leave you!"

Her small hands clung to him with all the strength she could muster, but her trembling betrayed her panic. Her tears soaked his shirt as she buried her face against his chest, her sobs echoing through the room. "Puchku , you are trying to fool me right? But why do you want me fool today? Today,it's not April 1st right? Tell me that I mis heard! Tell me puchku ", abhira begged, clutching his shirt

"N...no abhira you heard right, please...go with yo..your grandparents", rajveer Said his voice trembling, broken and barely audible

Tears spilled from Rajveer's eyes as he gently pried her hands away.

Rajveer wanted to hug her tightly and he wanted to tell everyone that he doesn't want to leave his abhira.

But his guilt and fear are not letting him do that

He doesn't want to spoil abhira's life further

"Control rajveer control. Don't be selfish , she will be happy without you .she will cry for a few days but after that she will be happy, at least she Will not face problems like she is facing now ,by being my wife. Manish's uncle is right,I'm the one who soiled her life and the day I entered her life ,her life became hell. Let her go ,let her leave peacefully ", rajveer Said to himself. He was trying a lot to keep being normal in front of everyone, especially in front of abhira

He doesn't want to leave his cupcake but he started to feel that he is the reason for all problems in abhira's life. He can't process anything.his mind was blank. He is not less than a dead body now

Tears streaming down from his eyes

Abhira's body froze, her grip on his arm loosening as her wide, tear-filled eyes searched his face for any sign that she had misheard him. "P-Puchku..." she stammered, her voice cracking. "What did you say?"

Rajveer turned away, unable to meet her gaze. "Go with them, Abhira. It's better this way."

Preeta was shocked when she heard rajveer's word but at the same time she was angry with rajveer too. How can he even think about leaving Abhira? Till this morning her both children were happy and caring for each other. But , Within minutes everything got changed .

"Rajveer!" preeta exclaimed, stepping forward. "its wrong rajveer. You can't be serious!"

"I am," he replied, his voice trembling with suppressed emotion. "This... this is what's best for her. She's suffered enough because of me."

Abhira's breathing grew uneven as panic set in. Her hands flew to clutch Rajveer's shirt, her fingers digging in as if afraid he would vanish if she let go. "No! No, I won't go!" she cried, her voice rising with each word. "I don't want to go! I want to stay with you!"

Tears spilled from Rajveer's eyes as he gently pried her hands away. "Abhira, listen to me-"

"No!" she screamed, shaking her head frantically. "I won't listen! You promised! You promised you would never leave me!" Her sobs grew louder, and her small frame trembled violently as she clutched his arm again, this time with even more desperation. "Puchku, please! Don't send me away! I'll be good! I'll do everything you say! Just don't send me away!

Manish, watching the scene, hesitated, his anger faltering as he saw the bond between them. Preeta stepped forward, her voice trembling with emotion. "Rajveer, you're her world. Can't you see that? How can you let her go when she's begging you to keep her?"

But Rajveer's heart was too heavy, weighed down by guilt and self-loathing. "All I've done is bring pain into her life," he said, his voice a quiet storm of anguish. "She's been shot, accused... all because of me. She deserves better. A life without danger, without fear."

Abhira shook her head violently, her cries piercing the hearts of everyone in the room. "You're wrong! You're wrong! I'm only happy with you! Please, Puchku... don't do this to me!"

Rajveer gently lifted her tear-streaked face, his own tears falling freely. "I love you more than anything, Abhira," he said, his voice cracking. "But sometimes, love means letting go."

"No!" she screamed again, clinging to him with all her strength. "I won't go! I won't! You are my superhero puchku, super heros are strong right? They don't let their loved ones to get hurt ", abhira said ,her voice trembling. She is trying a lot to convince rajveer to let her stay with him

Rajveer's chest tightened, every word she uttered tearing him apart. His hands hovered over hers, trembling as he fought the instinct to pull her into his arms and shield her from the world. But he stayed still, his resolve breaking him from within. "Abhira..." he began, his voice raw, "You'll be safer there... You'll be happier without me. I've only brought you pain."

"Pain?" Abhira cried, shaking her head violently. "No! You're my happiness, Puchku! You're my everything! Don't send me away. Please... please don't do this!"

Her cries grew louder, desperate and heart-wrenching. She clutched at his shirt, tears streaming down her face as she pleaded with him. "I'll die without you!" she sobbed. "Don't you understand? You're my happiness! I don't want to go! I won't go!"

Rajveer couldn't take it anymore. His heart shattered into a thousand pieces as he finally turned to face her, cupping her tear-streaked face with trembling hands. "Abhira," he whispered, his voice breaking, "I'm doing this because I love you. Because you deserve better than this... better than me."

"Better than you?" Abhira repeated, her voice cracking. "There's no one better than you, Puchku! You're my husband! You're my family! How can you send me away? Mumma also left me and now you are also leaving me puchku. Why?", she begged

Manish stepped forward, his jaw clenched as he reached out for Abhira. But before he could touch her, Preeta intervened, standing protectively in front of her son and daughter-in-law. "Rajveer, stop this madness!" Preeta shouted, her voice trembling with emotion. "You're breaking her! You're breaking yourself! How can you even think of doing this?"

But Rajveer stood firm, though his heart was breaking with every word. "Take her, Manish," he said again, his voice barely above a whisper. "It's for her own good."

Abhira, now on her knees, clutched at his hand like a lifeline. "No! Please don't do this to me, Puchku! Please don't send me away!" Her voice broke into sobs as she buried her face in his chest, her small, fragile frame trembling with pain and fear.

Manish came forward and Manish grabbed Abhira's arm, trying to pull her away. Her cries filled the air, but Rajveer stood frozen, his fists clenched, his heart breaking into pieces. Rudraksh couldn't take it anymore.

"Are you out of your mind, Rajveer?!" Rudraksh roared, stepping forward and gripping Rajveer's collar. "You're letting her go? After everything you two have been through? After everything she's done for you?" His voice echoed with both anger and disbelief.

Rajveer remained silent, his gaze fixed on the floor. He felt paralyzed by the weight of his decision, though every fiber of his being screamed to stop Manish and pull Abhira back into his arms.

Preeta joined in, her voice trembling with desperation. "Rajveer, think about your son! Think about Kiaan! What will happen to him if his mother is taken away? How can you even consider separating your family like this? He is still a baby ", preeta sai

At the mention of Kiaan, Rajveer's already fragile composure cracked further. Memories of their little boy's laughter, his innocent face and his joy at seeing both his parents together flashed before his eyes.

Abhira, still crying, looked at Rajveer with wide, tear-soaked eyes. "Puchku," she sobbed, her voice breaking. "What about Kiaan? He needs both of us! I can't leave you and kiaan . Don't do this... please!"

Rajveer turned away, his face contorted in pain. "He'll be better off without me," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Manish, fueled by anger, yanked Abhira's arm harder, causing her to stumble. Rajveer's instincts flared, and he took a step forward, only to stop himself.

"You're a coward, Rajveer!" Rudraksh shouted, his voice laced with fury. "A damned coward! You're pushing her away because you're too afraid to fight for her. Too afraid to stand up for the family you built with her!"

Rajveer stood motionless, his face a mask of pain and regret. He didn't respond. His silence was like a deafening roar in the room, louder than the cries of his family.

"Enough! No one is taking Abhira anywhere! Not you, Manish, and certainly not because of this madness, Rajveer!"Rudraksh roared,he can't see abhira in that state

Manish turned toward Rudransh, his face twisted with frustration. "This is not your decision to make, Rudransh! I am her family, and I will take her away from this toxic environment!"

Rudransh's lips curled in disdain as he took a threatening step closer to Manish. "Family?" he spat, his voice dripping with contempt. "You show up here after years of absence, and now you suddenly care about her? Abhira doesn't need a family like you-someone who forces her into decisions without thinking about her feelings!"

Abhira, still clutching Rajveer's arm, gasped for breath through her sobs. She was trembling violently, her tears soaking into Rajveer's shirt as she looked up at Rudransh with pleading eyes. "Rudraksh bhaiyaa.. please... stop them..."

Hearing her broken voice, Rudransh turned his blazing eyes toward Rajveer. "And you!" he snarled, pointing an accusing finger at him. "What in God's name are you doing, Rajveer? Have you lost your mind? You're sending away the one person who loves you unconditionally, the one person who makes you whole!"

Rajveer, standing like a statue, refused to meet Rudransh's gaze. His jaw clenched, his face pale, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "

Manish, now enraged, grabbed Rudransh by the arm and tried to pull him away. "This is not your place to interfere!"

But Rudransh yanked his arm free, his eyes narrowing dangerously at Manish. "You don't get to decide what's best for her. Abhira isn't an object you can drag around as you please. She has a voice, and it's screaming to stay with Rajveer. If you cared about her even a little, you'd respect that!"

Abhira, holding back her sobs, breaking her hug, her tear-streaked face filled with heartbreak. "Puchku..." she whispered, her voice barely audible, "Don't let me go... Please..."

But Rajveer, swallowing the lump in his throat, forced a pained smile. "I'll bring you back," he promised, his voice trembling. "I swear on our love, Abhira. I'll bring you back."

He knows that he is lying . But he wants to lie because of he didn't say this , abhira will never agree to go

Manish grabbed Abhira firmly by her arm, dragging her towards the car as she resisted weakly, her eyes constantly looking back at Rajveer, who stood like a statue, his expression unreadable but his heart visibly breaking.

"puchku! Please, don't let me go!" Abhira cried out, tears streaming down her face. "I don't want to leave! I don't want to go with him!".she begged

Baby Kiaan, sensing his mother's distress, began wailing loudly in Aliya's arms. His tiny hands reached out toward Abhira, his cries cutting through the tense air. "ahhhh", his innocent voice called, though his words were garbled with sobs.

Rajveer's body trembled as he looked at Kiaan, the little boy crying helplessly for his mother. Unable to bear the sight, Rajveer took Kiaan into his arms, cradling him tightly. "Shh, baby," he whispered, his voice breaking. "Papa's here... Don't cry..."

But the tears wouldn't stop, not for Kiaan, and not for Rajveer. He pressed a soft kiss to Kiaan's head, his own tears dripping onto the child's face.

As Rajveer stood frozen at the threshold of his home, he watched Abhira being dragged away by Manish. Each step she took away from him felt like a dagger stabbing into his heart. His chest tightened painfully, and his legs trembled as if the ground beneath him were crumbling.

His eyes stayed glued to her, his mind screaming for him to move, to stop her, but his body refused to cooperate for those first few moments.

"She's leaving me," he whispered to himself, his voice trembling with disbelief. "My Abhira... my life... she's leaving."

Kiaan's wails pierced the air, jolting Rajveer into a cruel reality. His baby's cries were a haunting echo of the storm raging inside him. Clutching Kiaan tighter to his chest, Rajveer's lips quivered as he whispered, "She's gone because of me... It's my fault."

As the car engine roared to life, signaling Abhira's departure, Rajveer's world tilted. The weight of the moment crashed down on him, suffocating him. His breaths came faster, his chest heaving with desperation.

"No..." he muttered under his breath, his voice barely audible. His hands trembled as he handed the crying Kiaan back to Aliya. "Take him," he whispered.

"Rajveer!" Aliya called out, sensing his madness, but it was too late.

Rajveer suddenly bolted toward the car, his legs moving faster than they ever had before. "Abhira!" he screamed, his voice raw and desperate. "Abhira, stop!"

The car sped down the driveway, Manish paying no attention to the chaos behind him. Abhira, her face buried in her hands, didn't look back, too consumed by her own pain to notice the man chasing after her.

Rajveer ran with everything he had, his feet pounding against the pavement, his heart beating erratically. "Stop!" he shouted again, his voice cracking. "Don't take her away!"

Abhira!" Rajveer suddenly screamed, his voice filled with anguish. He darted forward, his legs carrying him faster than ever before. His breaths were ragged, his body begging him to stop, but his heart pushed him onward. "Abhira, don't leave! Please! Look at me!"

He ran as though his very soul were on fire, his arms reaching out desperately toward the car that carried her away. "Manish, sir stop the car!" he shouted, his voice echoing down the street. "You can't take her! She's mine! Abhira, don't go!"

Tears blurred his vision, but he didn't care. His chest burned, and his legs felt like they would give out any second, but he kept running.

"Abhira!" he screamed again, his voice cracking with desperation. "I can't live without you! Please, don't leave me!"

But the car didn't stop. It grew smaller and smaller until it disappeared from his sight, leaving him breathless and broken in the middle of the road.

Rajveer collapsed onto his knees, clutching his chest as though trying to contain the pain that was ripping him apart. His tears fell freely, his

shoulders shaking as he sobbed.

"She's gone..." he whispered, his voice hollow. "She's really gone..."
