Rajveer's pov :-

"Abhira i want you now Jaan, please hug me , please comeback to your puchku .I'm sorry bachaa, i hurted you alot. I don't deserve your love", rajveer cried out "kiuuu , sans le na bhi mushkil horahi Hai yaar ", rajveer mumbled, gasping for breath

"Ahhhhhhh!", rajveer scremed in anger, falling on my knees and clutching Kiaan tightly to my heart

I can't even breath properly

Why my heart beat is raising?

The walls of my room close in, each one a cold, unforgiving barrier. I am trapped, a prisoner in this gilded cage, haunted by the echoes of her laughter, the warmth of her touch.

The pain in my chest was unbearable, like a jagged shard lodged deep within me, twisting with every thought of her.

"Abhira ,"I'm in so much pain."", i whimpered, tears streaming down my face

It's so terrible. I've never experienced anything like this before."

(Puchku come let's dance

Puchku, you are only mine

Puchku don't leave me

Why are you talking to that girl puchku?

Kuchi puchi puu puchkuuu !)

I could still hear her voice, see her smile, feel her warmth. Abhira. It's all I could think of, but the more I thought about her, the harder it became to breathe.

I closed my eyes, trying to block out the memory of her face, of the way she looked at me as if I was the one who can protect her from everything

Abhiraaa...... her voice, her face , her mischiefs --it all haunted me. I couldn't escape it, couldn't forget the woman . "Why? Why did I do that?!" I thought, my chest tightening with guilt and regret.

Suddenly, I heard it. Kiaan's cries. It was a sound I hadn't been able to hear clearly until now, the sound cutting through my thoughts like a sharp knife.

My baby, my son-he was crying, too, as if he could feel the weight of my pain. I looked down at him, his little face scrunched in distress, his eyes wide and searching, clearly unable to understand why his world was falling apart.

"Kiuu , don't cry beta", i whispered, my voice breaking

"I'm so sorry beta, i shouldn't have to scream loudly infront of you ",

I gently rocked him , I stood up, cradling him in my arms, and walked over to the window. I needed something-anything-to help calm him, to give him peace, even if just for a moment.

" I am such a idiot!",

How can I cry and scream infront a baby ? Now Kiaan got scared and crying because me

"Look, Kiaan," I whispered, my voice rough. "There's the moon", i cooed, stretching out each syllable, in my childish voice

"And see those birds , they are flying",i exclaimed, hiding my own pain

"Kiaan, do you want to fly?" I asked him softly, excitement creeping into my voice.

His big, curious eyes stared at me, and though he couldn't respond, I could feel his little body perk up as if he understood. "Yeah? You want to fly?" I asked again, my voice more animated this time.

I slowly lifted him into the air, his tiny arms stretching out as if he was reaching for the sky. "Wheee!" I said, smiling for what felt like the first time in forever. Kiaan's face lit up, and a burst of laughter spilled out of him-pure, unfiltered joy.

It was infectious. My chest tightened, not with pain this time, but with something warm and unfamiliar. His laughter filled the room, echoing against the walls and breaking through the suffocating silence that had surrounded me.

"Look at you, my little bird," I said, my voice soft but filled with a strange excitement. "You're flying, Kiaan! You're flying!" I gently moved him up and down, pretending he was soaring through the air.

His giggles became louder, his eyes sparkling with delight. His chubby little hands reached out, grasping at nothing and everything all at once. My heart clenched as I watched him,

I pressed a kiss to his forehead, my eyes closing as I held him tightly.

Author's POV:-

Rajveer sat on the bed, clutching Kiaan tightly to his chest . He gently rocked him back and forth, whispering soothing words as Kiaan's cries softened into tiny whimpers. The baby's small hands clung to Rajveer's shirt, and his breathing steadied, his eyes slowly closing in exhaustion.

Once Kiaan was fast asleep, Rajveer carefully placed him on the bed, surrounding him with soft pillows to keep him safe. He lingered for a moment, brushing a hand over Kiaan's tiny head, before sitting back with a heavy sigh

"Finally he slept", he whispered

His gaze fell on his phone lying beside him. With trembling fingers, he unlocked it, his heart shattering as he opened a photo of Abhira

Bringing the phone closer to his lips, he whispered brokenly, his voice cracking,

"Tumse bichhad kar mujhe jeena nahi aata,

Har saans mehsoos hoti hai khaali, bas ek tum ka saath chahiye tha...

Par afsos, usse bhi khud se cheen liya maine."

he clutched the phone to his heart, buried his face in his hands, his body shaking with silent sobs.

Just then, a loud knock on the door startled him.

"Seriously ? Who is now in this time? Arey chen se jene to nahi dete mujhe , chen se rone tho dev ( They won't even let me live in peace, can't I at least cry in peace, man?)", rajveer spat ,Wiping his tears hastily, Rajveer stood and walked toward the door, forcing himself to compose

As he opened it, he was met with the stormy eyes of Aryan . His father's face was red with anger, and before Rajveer could utter a word, "Neeche chalo, abhi!" Aryan didn't wait for an answer as Aryan grabbed his wrist with a force that sent a clear message of fury.

"Sir-what-" Rajveer stammered, but Aryan didn't let him finish.

Aryan dragged him out of the room and down the stairs, his grip unrelenting. Behind them, riya rushed into Rajveer's room, worried for the sleeping baby Kiaan. "I'll stay with him,"

As Aryan reached the grand living room, he pushed Rajveer forward, making him stand in the middle of the room. Rajveer's confused gaze darted across everyone's faces.

"What happened to all of them?", he whispered to himself

Rajveer's eyes then landed on Rehan, whose cheeks bore bright red handprints, clearly courtesy of Aryan.

Preeta stood beside Aryan and dadisa sat on couch and

clearly pleased that Abhira was no longer in the Rajvanshi mansion

Aliya couldn't digest dadiji's actions and especially her happiness when all members of the family are sad

Aliya crossed her arms, glaring in Dadiji's direction. "She's actually happy Abhira is gone. Look at her! As if she's won some kind of battle."

Aliya leaned on rudransh "arey yaar! Pata nahi bhagwan kyun dadaji ko lekar chale gaye(don't know why God took away dadaji). Iss budhi (old women) ko kab lekar jayenge", Aliya snorted , visible upset and frustrated

Aliya continued "Why didn't Dadu take her with him when he passed away? Would've done us all a favor."

Rudransh's eyes sparkled mischievously. "Oh, you think Dadu didn't consider that? He probably thought about it long and hard." He paused dramatically, then added with mock seriousness, "But then he must've thought, 'If I take her, how will I enjoy heaven in peace?'"

Aliya burst out laughing

Meanwhile, Dadiji glanced at them with narrowed eyes. "What are you two laughing about now?"

Rudransh quickly straightened, his expression all innocence. "Oh, nothing, Dadiji. Just discussing how much Dadu must be missing you... or not."

Aliya nooded

Rudransh smirked, stepping closer to Rehan and whispering loudly enough for everyone to hear,

"Wah Rehan ! Tumhara makeover toh papa ne pehle hi kar diya. Rajveer ki baari ab hai."

Rehan glared at Rudransh but remained silent, knowing better than not to speak when Aryan was in this mood.

Aryan usually a silent person, but also very strict when it comes to truth, discipline and moral values

Aryan shoved Rajveer forward, making him stumble. "Yeh sab kya ho raha hai iss ghar mein? (What's happening in this house?)Tum log ne socha bhi kaise ki yeh natak chalega?!" His voice was like thunder, shaking the very air in the room.

Rajveer lowered his gaze but stayed silent.

Aryan turned to Rehan first, his tone dripping with disgust.

"Who gave you the right to talk nonsense about Abhira? How dare you even look at your younger brother's wife in that way? And when did you start domestic violence? Why did you torture Prachi? And now you're saying that Abhira and you love each other, huh?"He pointed a finger at Rehan, who flinched.

Rehan flinched, visibly sacred of Aryan "papa mein sach bol Raha hu--", rehan stammered, his voice barely audible in fear

(Dad i m telling the truth)

" Just keep your bloody f*cking mouth shut !", Aryan roared, stroming towards rehan

"If you loved abhira why didn't you tell us about her before your marriage with prachi ? Why did you forced rajveer to marry her?", Aryan angrily questioned rehan , his face Inch away from rehan

Rehan tried to defend himself, " dad i didn't meet abhira before my marriage with prachi-"

Before he could finish, "rehannn?",Aryan raised his hand again and slapped rehan on his cheek

Making rehan to fall back on the couch, rubbing his cheek in pain

Aryan began slapping him repeatedly, each strike landing harder than the last

Rehan, caught off guard, tried to shield his face, yelling, "papa! I'm sorry! Please stop!"

Just then, Rudransh walked in, his expression a mix of fake concern and mischief. "Dad! Stop, please!" he exclaimed, rushing forward dramatically.

Everyone thought Rudransh was going to calm Aryan down.

But Rudransh had other plans. "You're doing it all wrong, Dad!" he said dramatically, wagging his finger. "If you keep slapping him with your hands, your palms are going to swell",he dramatically said

Aryan froze for a moment, glaring at Rudransh. "What are you trying to say, Rudransh?"

Rudransh smiled slyly, pulling a leather belt from behind his back. "Here, use this! Much more effective, and no hand pain.

Rehan's eyes widened in horror. "No! No, Rudransh bhai, please don't encourage him!"

But Aryan, catching on to the idea, snatched the belt with a grim determination. "Good suggestion, Rudransh."

"Anytime, Dad!" Rudransh replied, bowing like he'd just offered a great gift.

The sound of the belt snapping against the couch filled the room as Aryan tested it. "Let's see how this works, shall we?"

Rudransh leaned against the wall, laughing uncontrollably. "Run, Rehan! Maybe you'll set a new record for dodging Dad's wrath!"

"You're the one who handed him the belt!" Rehan screamed back, as another swipe hit on his back

Rehan sprang up, trying to escape, running around the living room like a child. "Dad, please! I'm sorry! I swear I'll never do it again!"

Aryan was relentless, chasing Rehan and landing a few solid strikes. Rudransh leaned casually against a wall, clapping as if watching a performance. "Mom, encourage your husband. He is doing such a great job".

Preeta couldn't help but laugh under her breath, shaking her head. "Rudransh, you're impossible."

Aliya went to rajveer, who was silent but now slightly in fear by seeing Aryan's anger, he remembered his childhood when Aryan used to chase him , ranbir, rudransh and Rehan when they did any mistake

"Rajveer don't worry, after finishing with rehan , dad will immediately come to you and will give you your Christmas gift", Aliya mocked

"Chup kar ", rajveer snapped and plugged her ear , making Aliya to shout in pain

"Ahhh , papa rajveer bhaiya is beating me ", Aliya shouted

And rajveer instantly backed off

Aryan turned to Rajveer, his stern expression now fixed on his son "And now you, Rajveer," he said in a cold, cutting tone.

"You deserve the harshest punishment Aryan growled, his voice filled with menace

Before anyone could react, Aryan grabbed Rajveer by back of the Rajveer's neck and dragged him toward the kitchen. Preeta rushed forward, pleading, "Aryan, stop this madness! He's our son!" But Aryan was unrelenting, shoving Rajveer forward with a force that made him stumble.

"Rudransh," Aryan barked, "turn on the stove!"

Rudransh, caught between amusement and shock, flicked the knob, and the blue flames roared to life. "Done, Dad," he said with a half-smirk.

Aryan shoved Rajveer closer to the burning stove, clutching the back of his neck tightly. Rajveer's face was mere inches away from the scorching fire, the heat making his skin sting. "This is your punishment, Rajveer!" Aryan declared. "You sent your wife away. You broke my daughter's heart . Now feel the flames of your guilt!"

Rajveer's voice quivered as he pleaded, ", please! I'm sorry! Don't do this! Let me go!"

From behind, Rudransh chuckled darkly, leaning casually against the doorframe. "Dad, if Rajveer is asking you to let him go, maybe you should. Let him go into the fire and let him burn. After all, isn't that what he wanted-pain and regret?"

"Rudransh!" Preeta scolded, horrified, but Rudransh's words only made Rajveer panic more.

"Shut up, Rudransh!" Rajveer screamed, his voice breaking. "This isn't funny!"

Aryan loosened his grip slightly, the firelight reflecting in his eyes. He finally released Rajveer, shoving him backward. Rajveer stumbled

Aryan grabbed Rajveer by the collar and yanking him forward again. "You listen to me, boy. You are going to bring Abhira back! Do you hear me? She belongs here, with this family, not out there suffering because of your stupidity!"

Rajveer, finally snapping, shouted back, "She doesn't deserve this pain! Don't you understand? She'll be happier without me! I let her go because I love her! If I hold her back, I'll ruin her life!"

Aryan's grip on Rajveer's collar tightened as he leaned in closer, his voice low but sharp. "Do you think what you did was love, Rajveer?" Aryan began, his grip firm but not harsh. "You think sending Abhira away, breaking her heart, and leaving her to fend for herself is what love is all about?"

Rajveer finally spoke, his voice trembling. "I... I let her go because I don't deserve her. She'll be happier without me. She won't have to suffer anymore because of my mistakes."

Aryan's face darkened, and he grabbed Rajveer by the collar again. "Who gave you the right to decide what's best for her?

"Who are you to think she's better off without you? True love isn't about deciding someone's happiness for them. It's about fighting together, even when the world is against you!"

Rajveer's eyes filled with unshed tears, and he whispered, "But all I've ever brought her is pain. I can't bear to see her suffer anymore."

Aryan's grip loosened slightly, but his tone remained stern. "You're wrong, Rajveer. What will truly break her is losing you. Abhira doesn't need a man who runs away in the name of love; she needs a man who will stand by her, no matter what."

Rajveer flinched, his chest tightening at the accusation. "She'll be happier-"

Aryan interrupted sharply, "Happier? Without the man she loves? Without her son? Look me in the eye and tell me that's true!"

Rajveer's gaze faltered, tears brimming in his eyes.

Aryan's voice softened but held a biting edge of truth. "True love isn't about letting go, Rajveer. It's about holding on, no matter how hard it gets. It's standing by their side through the storms, not sending them away to face it alone."

Aryan released Rajveer's collar but didn't step away. "Love is sacrifice, yes. But not the kind you think-real sacrifice is fighting your demons for the one you love. Facing your fears. Proving that no matter what, you'll stand tall for them. You failed her today, Rajveer. You failed her as a husband and as a man."

"If you think letting her go was an act of love, then you don't understand love at all", Aryan continued

Rajveer sank to his knees, overwhelmed by the weight of Aryan's words, tears streaming down his face. "I... I thought I was doing the right thing..."

Aryan knelt down to Rajveer's level, his tone gentler now. "The right thing is bringing her back, son. The right thing is showing her that you're strong enough to fight for her, not give up. If you truly love her, prove it. Not to me, not to anyone else-but to her and yourself."

Aryan stood, leaving Rajveer kneeling on the ground, clutching his chest.

Preeta couldn't see her son in that state. Her mother heart aching, by seeing her son in pain

She went forward to soothe rajveer but Aryan stopped her "leave him alone, let him realise his mistakes", Aryan whispered, his voice soft but firm

In Abhira's grandparents house :-

Manish and Swarna had struggled for hours, trying to get Abhira to calm down as they finally brought her back to their home. But as soon as they entered, Abhira's cries grew louder, a pitiful sound that seemed to echo through the empty walls of the house

Inside the room, Abhira was in a frenzy, her hands smashing anything within reach in her desperate, childish rage.

She didn't understand why her life had become like this, why she was being torn apart from the two people she loved the most.

She started to break things in anger, throwing anything she could get her hands on-vases, books, and anything in her path. The noise of crashing objects filled the room, but it did nothing to quell the storm raging inside her.

Exhausted, Abhira finally collapsed onto the bed, clutching a pillow to her chest as though it could bring her comfort.

She buried her face in the fabric, her sobs muffled by the soft pillow as she cried continuously. Her words were broken and frantic, "What is Kiaan doing now? Did he drink his milk? Is he sleeping? What is puchku doing without me? Why did they make me leave? I miss them... I miss them so much..."

Her tiny frame curled up, her face buried in a pillow as she sobbed uncontrollably. "I want Kiaan..." she wailed, her voice muffled by the pillow. "I want puchkuuuu !"

"Is kiaan still crying? He was crying alot when I was going off . I just want to see Kiaan... to hold him... How can he leave without me ? I'm his mother, I don't want my baby to get sad because of me " Her chest heaved with the intensity of her crying, her small hands clutching at the pillow like it was the only thing keeping her from falling apart.
